The majority of recent devices no longer require any delays. Whether any delays are useful in your situation is thus entirely dependent on which devices you’re trying to control exactly. Modern receivers only require the usual roughly 100ms delay between power and input commands which Roomie already handles for you.
My experience with the vsx-60 and sc-65 doesn’t reflect this. I’ll try things on the vsx-60 – which is exclusive to Roomie Remote – when I’m next in that location. There, I have found that everything works well if I press the action twice (i.e. Watch DirectV) but if I only press it once, then the Input selection stays at the last selection before the Power Off. The SC-65 is being shared by a Control4 app and I want to rule out dueling units before I give you what I see.
