We really don’t have any insight into the innards of MCE Controller. That question would need to be posed to the maintainers of that package. We just send commands to it and if they’re not followed at a particular time, that’s an MCE issue.
Could you guys give the option to send a different command. I bet “guide” before the channels or even “live tv” prior to the channel numbers.
