it is very convinient to choose the channels by the channel guide. But it would be fantastic if the current channel would be displyed on the remote. I think it is only possible on IP-controlled TVs with feedback. But is there any way to do it on TVs controlled by IR ?
If roomie could store the last channel selected and show that on the device? Though changing channel any other way (from your tv maybe) wouldnt update roomie…
