Sound bars with direct IP?

Hello,

My apologies if this is a silly question or if it’s posted in the wrong forum, but would anyone happen to know if there are any sound bars that support direct IP? I currently have an older Yamaha surround sound system which I’m looking to replace with a good sound bar, mainly for space and aesthetic considerations, and I would dearly like to find one that would work with Roomie’s direct IP feature.

The Sonos Playbar. It’s excellent. Has full volume feedback, built-in streaming services, and lots of Roomie integration.

So will I need an adapter or anything else to use Roomie Remote with the Sonos Playbar?

Sonos networking is its own thing. You need either the Playbar directly connected via Ethernet, or another Sonos device connected via Ethernet such as a Sonos Bridge. Beyond that there are no adapters needed.
