My wife is blind and I have been searching for a way for her to watch TV without having to ask others around her what is on. The “roomie” app already works with voiceover partially but the channel up and down only say “button” and the guide does not read. I have not found a way to show her what she is scrolling through in the DVR section on the screen. I am not even sure if that is possible. Is this something already builtin to the app or is it possible to add these features? I already bought the app and she is using it as is but with a few minor changes, it will be a perfect app for the visually impaired.
Currently we only own an iPhone, if this is already a feature of the iPad, I will go purchase one of those.
