If the display that says “Custom Devices” in Settings does not show a “1” then no device was imported and the problem is the formatting of the RoomieCodes file.
I went back to basics and found another .plist editor; “EditPad Lite 7” and rebuilt the .plist from scratch. I can now control my VP.
