Had a Hisense tv to test for a minute, it works tcp with the android device but power is just a toggle. The roku tvs work great, power on/off via tcp even the cheap tvs. Is it possible to discrete power control the android tvs? Cheaper tvs make sense in less demanding applications like garage, etc and the TCL rokus work great but picture isn’t the brightest/best obviously.
I have an lg oled that works wol over tcp but after power loss it has to be turned on once with the remote. Do other wol tvs have this issue? Like sony, samsung, etc? Or will they wake the first time?
