Just checking on the interest and use cases for the following, I hope there is enough interest that will help RR to go for it…
A) Currently when we check on prevent editing ot does not allow making changes for the activities in the room that is on display and in use…that is press and hold doesn’t land you with the edit options, this is good !
B) However one can click on the three bars on the left side go to the line menu and go to activities, devices, rooms, settings etc…and make changes
C) Suggestions are to uses guided access and lock that area for touch access, works great but than the devices is locked and cannot be used for anything else.
D) How about if there is password or passcode to prevent access to these options ?
E) This will allow to share the app with other family members, guests, kids etc… without the capability of to make any changes.
Please note : This is using Local Share, and not cloud based sharing, used that in the past it does have the prevent editing type of option for shared clients, however this roundabout way to make changes was still there, maybe not any more, l have not tried that in awhile, however love the local share vs depending on cloud!
If cloud sharing allows to disable the three bars (see pic) it maybe be worth trying
