My home lighting is controlled by a Homeworks QS system. I have been able to use the RadioRA functionality to connect via telnet to access a number of functions (i.e., turn lights on/off using time triggers), but there appear to be some limitations; for instance, my system has motion sensors that I’d like to use to trigger lights; simplecontrol doesn’t seem to be able to use it as a trigger.
I know that I can implement my own set of functions, but is there a way to start with the RadioRA from simplecontrol and extend it? Or do I have to start from scratch?
