I have an Onkyo receiver that works well with Roomie via IP, and provides feedback about volume levels, audio modes, and so on.
Is it possible to have Roomie infer the current activity/power status based on the input that the receiver reports? Sometimes, the devices have been controlled by normal IR remotes, and Roomie doesn’t know that the setup is on, and showing a Blu-ray. It seems that there’s enough information provided by the Onkyo to infer this status.
