Hi, wondering if anyone can tell me whether they have had full function with IP control using Roomies remote. Seems I am having trouble with some commands. Maybe in order to use this I will need an IP2IR and emitter?
Samsung IP control is never a complete solution, they just don’t build it to work that way. For Power On, you will need either IR or an Anynet+ based solution. One Anynet+ solution we’re aware of to date is using the newer Onkyo Receivers with the RIHD commands to power the TV. Roomie does support that.
For the general case ignoring somewhat obscure RIHD/Anynet solutions, you will always want an iTach IR for Samsung control.
