Let’s back up a step. The codes for that device are already in the main library. The command set is Receiver: Pioneer: VSX/SC Series Main Zone All Models. Why do you want to learn the codes?
how do you get to the option for entering remote codes?
When you tap Add Device in the Edit mode for a room, then select the L5 Remote. You will then be asked to identify the device to be added which is as named in the message above.
