Not sure if it is possible but are there any plans to provide quick access to common controls - play, pause, volume etc when the idevice is on the lock screen. Or even extend the excellent use of the hard buttons for volume to also work while locked?
I have Ipeng controlling my squeeze players and I think you can set this to allow you access while locked.
