Max IR emitter cable distance and IR block

Does anybody know the maximum length of the IR emitter cable run(cat6)? I need to send it about 100’. Can you also recommend a good IR block for IP Flex if it turns out to be too long.

100’ shouldn’t be an issue. We have some extension cables here:

Xantech has all kinds of IR distribution blocks like that, one of which is on that page, if you need to repeat the signal along the way.

I am running 80’ around the house ON THE OUTSIDE under clapboards without a problem. So temp etc isn’t a problem

I used a Rat Shack 80’ headphone extender cable
