id buy a few physical remotes that could maybe be wifi that pair with roomie remote and give basic commands like #0-9, volume and channels. would be a nice addon to roomie remote
If you’re looking for more hardware buttons, Roomie 2.1 introduces support for iOS 7 game controllers. So there are now quite a few hardware buttons that can be applied and customized. No doubt those kinds of hardware shells will evolve over time and have more remote-like renditions as well.
