Preventing accidental activation of an Activity

Using Roomie on the iPad Mini, I have the problem of unwanted switching of Activities due to accidentally touching or brushing the screen. Is there a way to implement a delay in activating an Activity, such as by requiring a press and hold for 1 or 2 seconds?

The “Request Confirmation” option right there in the Activity sounds like exactly what you need.
