Any word if Roomie will be supporting R_Volution players in the future? It looks like their R_Video software can now be run on the old Zappiti players and will also be coming to Dune and Zidoo by the end of the year.

Hey Fellas, for the life of me, I cannot get my roomie to work with my R_Volution 8K player. I’ve added a device and chosen Zappiti with the device IP and port 80 (many times). The player does not respond. I can control the player from a browser with HTML commands, so I know the player is working. Can you guys point me in the right direction? I’ve been messing with this off and on for months.
If I can control the device using HTML commands, is there a way to program these commands into roomie with a custom device?
Reminder, the forum is not support. So you can post this, but it’s a very specific and detailed question about a device with a very small user base. IMO your chances are much better getting things working as you did and contacting support to see what the difference is between what you got working and the normal codeset or port, etc. On that end, we can see your config and diagnostics whereas a forum is speculation.
Or you can do exactly what you said and just enter the HTTP commands into a custom code set. This is all part of the standard user interface these days.
