Just wanted to say a quick thanks to all. Finally moved over from an ancient Phillips pronto to the roomie app along with IR Blaster. Really impressed so far with how controllable everything is with scripting and activity based actions rather than simulated remote controls which is what I had before. Even URL commands which I have used to control my X10 home lighting etc. BRILLIANT!
I will certainly be recommending this to others that are looking for a similar solution.
Looking forward to what apple homekit brings, cant wait to tell Siri to “TV on Netflix”
I have posted this in feature requests but "Roomie Agent Lite for Linux (raspberry pi) "to aid wifi sync would be a god send.
