I am sorry if this has been asked but I searched all the samsung TV posts and did not see it. I was wondering if there is a way to configure Roomie to use IR to turn my Samsung PN60E7000 on then use the IP control to do everything else? If this is possible how do I set it up? I am still waiting on my WF3IR which should be here by the end of the week.

Just started using Roomie with my IP equipment and it is great. So Much better than that other complicated program.

Sure, that’s a pretty standard configuration. Just create two devices. One is IP control, the other is IR. For the ‘Opens Remote’ device, you’d set the IP control device. Meanwhile, the IR device would be marked ‘Power for All Activities’ thus getting the appropriate power commands.

Thanks for the response I got it working. I created a device with just the power on option and add it to any time I want the TV on. I use IP to turn it off.
