I built a new device last night (HDMI Switcher 8x3). I learned 12 keys from the remote and when done, it went to a screen listing them with alphabetical names next to each. The interesting things are: 1) It did not show the names as they were learned 2) Since they are alphabetical, there is no way to know the key/name configuration.
I ended up killing the 12 keys and learning/renaming them one by one.
Can you change it so the key name displays before you learn it, with the option to rename them?
BTW, the names it came up with for the 12 keys did not match my device in the least. My hdmi switcher has a dest 1,2,3, source 1-8 and power on and power off
