As it stands currently the media guide does not obey any user defined sorting that can be defined in XBMC/Kodi library. For example I use a meta data editor to add meta data to my library rather than XBMC’s internal scrapers. For movies that are a series (but not necessarily named so) I use the ‘sort title’ feature to retain the original display name but have my movie library sorted accordingly.
It would be nice if the media guide would list movies the same way XBMC/Kodi does.
